Sadist – New signing and new album 'Season In Silence'
Scarlet Records has signed a licensing deal with Live Global for the worldwide release of Sadist's long-waited new album 'Season In Silence'.
Sadist is one of Europe's finest death metal bands, having released genre-defining milestones such as 'Above The Light' (1993) and 'Tribe' (1996) and having taken part in some of the biggest international metal events (including Wacken Open Air, Metal Camp, Gods Of Metal and several tours with Carcass, Blind Guardian, Samael and Amon Amarth among others). 'Season In Silence' is the confirmed title for the band's brand-new album, an exciting journey through the darkest side of the Human Mind based on a "freezing" concept on the coldest season of the year (the beautiful artwork was handled by nerve Design). The album has already been described as the heaviest and most technical in the entire band's career, confirming Sadist as one of the greatest techno death metal bands ever among Cynic, Atheist and Pestilence. A long tour will follow the release of the album, including various festival appearances in Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and many more to be confirmed. More info on www.sadist.it and www.myspace.com/sadistribe
Wuthering Heights – New signing and new album 'Salt'
Formed back in the beginning of the nineties, Wuthering Heights started to draw attention from the Denmark scene to the entire world. Their brilliant epos of majestic and symphonic speed power metal with progressive and folk roots became the trademark of their entire discography. Their previous albums were very well received by fans and media and solidified Wuthering Heights' status as one of the most interesting bands to emerge on the international heavy metal scene in recent years. Finally, after three years of silence, the band is back with a brand-new album, the 5th in their outstanding career, titled ‘Salt’ and set to be released on the 12th April on Scarlet Records. Featuring the same line-up as seen on ‘The Shadow Cabinet’, Erik and the boys have created an epic album which is undoubtedly their strongest to date. While writing its lyrics, Erik discovered that the imagery of the sea was a perfect setting for his dark tales of personal and global armageddon. And consequently the music has traded some of its celtic delicacy for the rawness of the sailor´s tunes. Never before the end of the world has sounded this uplifting. Disdain – New signing and debut album 'Leave This World'
Disdain, from Gothenburg, Sweden, is without doubt one of the most exciting bands you will happen to hear this year. Their music is full of life, with choruses that really wake you up, but which are counterbalanced with deep lyrics, heavy and dark enough to suit even the most evil ones of you out there! Watch out, cause the power of this machinery is about to be let out in a world-resounding roar with their debut album 'Leave this World', due early February 2010 on Scarlet Records. Their wide range of influences include bands such as Iced Earth, Sonata Arctica, Nocturnal Rites, Metallica, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames and many more, but it's life in general that inspires this kick-ass quintet’s music, which often deals with subjects such as escaping difficult situations by fighting your way through them, thinking on your own and being resourceful individuals when hard times come. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered in cooperation with renowned Studiomega in Varberg, Sweden (Tiamat, Katatonia, Sonic Syndicate, Beseech, Lake Of Tears), and includes very special guest appearances by Swedish guitar wizard Mattias "IA" Eklundh and former Lost Horizon singer Daniel Heiman. Royal Jester – New signing and debut album ‘Night Is Young’
March 2010 will see Scarlet Records releasing Royal Jester's debut album 'Night is Young'. The band formed in 2008 in Sweden and straight from the start rehearsed a lot, played dozens of live shows and wrote lots of songs. They soon contacted Per Nilsson of Scar Symmetry and the band's debut album was recorded at his Studio Kabyss. Later it was mixed in Black Lounge Studio by Jonas Kjellgren, also from Scar Symmetry. Royal Jester is a modern power metal band that mixes speedy intense power metal with other elements to get a wide array of arrangements. Lyrical themes can also differ much from song to song, as well as musical influences. Let's say that fans of bands such as Helloween, Gamma Ray, Nocturnal Rites and Edguy will surely find something appealing enough! The Jester is hungry, energetic and ready to spread their word through the entire world! Expect a band to count on! For more info you can visit www.myspace.com/royaljestermetal

Node – New album 'In The End Everything Is A Gag'
Formed in 1994 and mixing death metal and grindcore since then, Node is without a doubt one of the most active and well-known extreme metal bands from Italy. With four critically-acclaimed albums under their belt and a massive live activity which led them to share the stage with renowned acts such as Death, Anthrax, Lacuna Coil, Fear Factory, The Haunted and many others all around Europe, Node are going to set the world on fire with their brand-new album ‘In The End Everything Is A Gag’, out in January 2010 on Scarlet Records. With the addition of singer Beppe (Rex) Caruso and guitarist Andrea (Attila) Caniato, Node is now, for the first time, a killer five-piece: more technical, powerful and focused than ever! The new album can be described as a mix of all the band’s influences, with a fresh, modern approach which is drawing comparisons with Swedish metal giants Meshuggah. The album has been mastered by legendary Goran Finnberg at Mastering Room, Sweden. Artwork duties were handled by Seldon Hunt (Neurosis, Isis, The Ocean). Stay ready for the ultimate metal massacre! BULLDOZER & FRIENDS – FESTA A FAVORE DELL’UNICEF

Tutti i fonici, così come i promoters dell’evento lavoreranno in modo completamente gratuito.

Skyclad - New signing and new album ‘In The… All Together’

Skyclad, the seminal British band, often referred to as “the originators of Folk Metal”, have signed a deal with Scarlet Records. Formed in 1990 by Martin Walkyer (Sabbat) and Steve Ramsey (Satan/Pariah), the band gained extraordinary attention from both the press and the public with the now legendary debut album ‘The Wayward Sons Of Mother Earth’ (1991) and, since then, has built up a solid reputation which led them to take part in some of the most important international metal events (such as the renowned Dynamo, Wacken, Gods of Metal and Tuska Festivals) and share the stage with some of the most respected artists of their time.

Revolution Renaissance - New signing and new album 'Age Of Aquarius'

Revolution Renaissance, the new band of the Stratovarius mastermind Timo Tolkki has signed a worldwide deal for one album with Scarlet Records. The last weeks have kept Tolkki and his band members busy putting finishing touches to the band’s first real debut album entitled ‘Age Of Aquarius’. Recorded over three months in Finland, it is by far the darkest, heaviest and most symphonic album that Tolkki has ever been involved in. Finding a close connection with his new band members Gus Monsanto and Bruno Agra, the trio locked itself in a cabin in Finland for a month and composed ten new songs. It is the first time during Tolkki’s career that he shared the whole songwriting process with other band members. “I just felt this incredibly fresh vibe with these guys and the songs were just flowing. It was so natural process that it almost felt like the songs were already composed and we just let them be born. It was possible because in Gus and Bruno I finally have found the kindred spirits I have been looking for so long. The results were something that none of us were expecting and yet at the same time, we felt that this record is exactly the way it is supposed to be”, comments Tolkki. The release date of ‘Age Of Aquarius’ is 25 March 2009 in South East Asia (JVC) and 9 March 2009 in the rest of the world. The band also filmed a promotional video in Helsinki for the title track of the album.
Tracklist: ‘The Age Of Aquarius’, ‘So She Wears Black’, ‘Ixion’s Wheel’, ‘Kyrie Eleison’, ‘Revolution Has Begun’, ‘Sins Of My Beloved’, ‘Behind The Mask’, ‘Ghost Of Fallen Grace’, ‘Children Of The Future’ and ‘The Heart Of All’. The tours are currently been booked to promote ‘Age Of Aquarius’ worldwide and are planned to start from South America in early April.
Scarlet Records will also release Timo Tolkki’s third solo album, the ethereal classical Rock Opera ‘Saana-Warrior Of Light Part 1’ worldwide on 23 January 2009.

Allhelluja - New line-up and new album 'Breath Your Soul' almost ready!
Allhelluja are busy in the studio in Milan completing their new album, a sonic apocalypse rising from the most brutal and corrosive Death & Roll with groovy Stoner/Doom influences and the usual Horror-Gloomy blast! ‘Breath Your Soul’, the confirmed title of the new effort, which is going to be released in March 2009 on Scarlet Records, adds new, talented musicians to the ranks of the band: Trevor (Sadist) and GL Perotti (Extrema) on vocals and Tommy Massara (Extrema) on guitars in the place of singer Jacob Bredahl and guitarist Massimo Gajer. Here’s how drummer Stefano Longhi commented the event: “Finally Allhelluja are coming back and I can say that with this album we’ve reached our best potential. The legacy of the band is strenghten by our friendship, our humility and, mostly, our crazy talent, making ‘Breath Your Soul’ something really unique. Roby (Gelli, bass) and I, along with Tommy, have worked for months on the new songs, giving justice to the sonic assault that makes Allhelluja such a diverse act from anything else around. And what can I say about Trevor and GL… Those guys simply are what we needed to close the circle! I think that Allhelluja are, in this particular moment, a very ‘strange’ mix of bands such as Entombed, Carcass, Black Sabbath, Corrosion Of Conformity, Kyuss, Down, Mastodon and Slipknot. Jacob and I have decided to part our ways to be able to concentrate in a better way on our busy lives… Jacob can now focus himself on Last Mile and I can do the same with Allhelluja, in total freedom, without compromising the friendship that still exists among us. Allhelluja will never delude all the people who’ve supported us till this moment!” Confirmed titles for the new songs are ‘Face To Face With The Devil’, ‘The Bible Babylon’, ‘The Eve Of Despair’, ‘I Will Rise Again’, ‘Bloodtrip’, ‘My Medicine’, ‘I'm The Zero’, ‘Step By Step’, ‘The Black Jar’, ‘Into My Head’, with the addition of cover versions of classic songs such as ‘21st Century Schizoid Man’ (King Crimson), ‘Into The Void’ (Black Sabbath) and ‘Profondo Rosso’ (Goblin), reaching a total duration of 70 minutes. Extra-cool updates from the studio will follow soon!
