Adimiron - New signing and new album ‘Timelapse’

Extreme progressive metallers Adimiron are going to release their new album ‘Timelapse’ on Scarlet Records.

This new dark and sinister effort combines all the elements that made Adimiron’s sound so distinctive: rhythmic spasms and asymmetric textures embedded in a progressive and dramatic scenario. Focusing on the concept of synthesis, ‘timelapse’ reveals fascinating and obscure musical landscapes, with no boundaries of any kind.

Adimiron is one of the most promising acts in the European metal scene. Their previous, acclaimed album ‘K2’, released in fall 2011, was very well received by fans and critics alike, and with their hard-touring approach, the band have constantly promoted their music throughout Europe, North America and Russia supporting dozens of bands and taking part to many festivals, for a total of 160 shows.

This is how singer Andrea Spinelli commented the event: “After such a long tour we had many things to say, and these dark 45 minutes of music sum up our true essence better than anything else. Enjoy your trip and prepare to be blown away!”

TIMELAPSE Tracklist:

Collateral (04:36)
State of Persistence (04:35)
The Giant and The Cow (04:52)
Timelapse (05:53)
Liar’s Paradox (04:17)
The Burning of Methuselah (04:44)
Redemption (04:41)
The Furnace Creek (04:10)
Ayahuasca (04:33)

‘Timelapse’ will be available starting from November 4th, 2014.

More news will be revealed soon on

The album was produced by Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre) at Outer Sound Studios in Rome, Italy. Kaledon have also teamed up with renowned artist Felipe Machado Franco (Blind Guardian, Rage, Rhapsody Of Fire, Iron Savior) for the soon to be revealed cover artwork. Follow for the latest news.

These 12 new songs (13 in the Digipack version of the album) sound fresh and regenerating, having been inspired by their authors’ souls and spirituality and handled with deep attention to every little detail. ‘Now’ was produced by Matteo Magni and co-produced by the band’s own guitarist Marco D’Andrea and will hit the stores this fall. Mastercastle - New signing and new album 'Enfer De La Bibliothèque Nationale'
Founded in 2008 by guitarist Pier Gonella (Necrodeath) and vocalist Giorgia Gueglio, Mastercastle soon became one of the leading forces in the European Power/Neoclassical Metal scene, thanks to an addictive mix of strong riffs, virtuoso guitar solos and captivating female vocals, developed through each of their four, critically acclaimed albums. After having signed a new deal with Scarlet Records, Mastercastle are currently in the studio to complete the recordings of their fifth, upcoming album 'Enfer De La Bibliothèque Nationale', out this fall. This new work, inspired by the different meanings and aspects of "censorship", has been described by the band as their heaviest effort to date, while still maintaining their trademark sound and with a special mention for the strongest production the band have ever benefited from. A very special guest appearance by Andrea De Paoli (Labyrinth, Vision Divine) is also confirmed.
Horned Almighty - New signing and new album ‘World Of Tombs’
Danish blackened extremists Horned Almighty have inked a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their fifth album 'World Of Tombs'. Four years in the making, Horned Almighty is ready to unleash the most important album in the 12-year history of the band. Songs were created, destroyed, puked forth again and the repugnant remains have ended up on the new album 'World Of Tombs'. Once again mixed by J. Bredahl (Ex-Hatesphere, The Kandidate, Barcode) at Deadrat Studios and mastered by Brad Boatright (Vallenfyre, Nails, Corrosion Of Conformity), this nine song opus is by far the most heavy and strong material recorded by the band. The diversity between fast and furious punkish black metal and heavy crushing doomy metal gives the listener absolutely no chance of reconciliation, before the last sounds fade out. All wrapped in a thick, heavy and crunchy production, sure to pound the living daylights out of every speaker! An album which will equally appeal to both the regular metal fan and those into the underground scene.
Originally formed by S. and Hellpig, both active in the extreme metal underground since the early nineties, the filthy ugly beast that is Horned Almighty was puked from the gutters of Hell in early 2002. 2004 saw the release of the debut album and after this, the stage was set for pure desecration and blasphemy! Three albums later, with the highly acclaimed album 'Necro Spirituals' being released by Candlelight Records in 2010, the blasphemous bastards celebrated ten years of complete utter darkness and malicious mockery in 2012. Mixing the primitivism of Celtic Frost with the aggression of Discharge and the ugliness of Autopsy, all drenched in the eerie and disturbing rot of early nineties Black Metal. As one fan noted: "This sounds like a fucking Missouri-class canon shot at the Vatican!". Horned Almighty has proven they are no Sunday church choir on stage and has played many gigs and festivals in Denmark, United Metal Maniacs in Germany, Inferno Festival in Norway and, in 2011, they did a European tour with Glorior Belli from France.
The music is intentionally written to destroy all boundaries on stage, crushing all doctrines and rules with their “Don’t give a shit” take on black metal, as a testament to all that is extreme! The artwork for the album was done by Danish artist Mark Bundgaard Hansen (Tiny Dots Of Death). ‘World Of Tombs’ is due on digipack and digitally in Europe September 1st and the rest of the world September 2nd. Produced by Fabrizio Grossi (Steve Vai/Steve Lukather) and mastered by Peter Doell (David Lee Roth/Richard Marx) at Universal Mastering in Los Angeles, the album will be available starting from September 1st in Europe and September 2nd in the rest of the world. Cadaveria's latest effort 'Horror Metal' has been described as “the most obscure, raw and horror-filled work ever produced by the group”.

Rezophonic - New album 'III' on Scarlet Records
Scarlet Records is proud to be partnering with Rezophonic for the release of its third album ‘III’. Rezophonic is more than a simple rock band. Rezophonic was founded by talented Italian musician and tv personality Mario Riso in 2006 with the aim of devolving all the money gained to the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF). Since then, Rezophonic released two very successful albums featuring artists from the rock world (Lacuna Coil’s Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro, but also Billy Sheehan, Stef Burns and members of Linea 77 and Extrema to name a few) but also many others in the entertainment and sports industries (Inter FC’s Materazzi and Javier Zanetti are among the football stars that wanted to give their contribution) and, most importantly, raised enough money to build and donate 158 water wells, 15 tanks and 3 schools to Africa. Rezophonic’s new album, anticipated by the single ‘Dalla A Me’ (“Give it to me” in English), mixes a wide range of musical styles (from Pop Rock to Heavy Metal, Rap, Funk and Reggae) in 12 new songs with a very strong humanitarian message: to raise awareness in regard of how unnecessary consumption and waste of goods have become unconscious aspects of our daily lives. Inspired by the classic Bay Area thrash metal scene, Game Over mix those influences with modern sounds and a very distinctive personality, which the new album displays in full force. These 9 brand-new tracks are made of sharp riffs, groovy rhytms and super-fast guitar solos, with lyrics ranging from the horror imaginary of the Eighties b-movies to social commentary and introspective thoughts. ‘Burst Into The Quiet’ has been produced, mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (DGM) at Domination Studios and features a beautiful cover by Mario Lopez.
Noveria - New signing and debut album on Scarlet Records
Progressive metallers Noveria have signed a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their debut album 'Risen'. The band consists of vocalist Frank Corigliano, Francesco Mattei (former member of Baton Rogue Morgue) on guitars, keyboard wizard Emanuele Casali (DGM, Astra), Omar Campitelli on drums and Andrea Arcangeli (DGM, Solisia) on bass guitar. ‘Risen’, features 9 challenging songs in a style the band likes to call “catastrophic” metal. The album was recorded at VDM Studios in Rome, Italy and mixed/mastered by renowned producer and musician Simone Mularoni (DGM, Empyrios) at Domination Studios in San Marino, Italy. Mr. Mularoni also performed a guest guitar solo on the track ‘Fallen From Grace’. The beautiful artwork was handled by Simone Bertozzi (Mnemic, Empyrios). A music video for the first single ‘Downfall’, filmed and edited by Matteo Ermeti in a suggestive steel factory located in the city of Terni, Italy, will be released soon. 'Risen' will hit the stores on June 10th, 2014.
Scamp - New album 'The Deadcalm'
Danish groove metallers Scamp are going to release their long-waited new album 'The Deadcalm' on Scarlet Records. The angry boys from Aarhus are back with brutal sounds that will entice, envelope and enlighten you with grooves that hit as hard as a dockside drunk hits a bottle of bourbon! Since their critically acclaimed debut album, 'Mirror Faced Mentality' that won them "Debut Album of the Year" at the Danish Metal Music Awards, Scamp has won over crowds at Roskilde Festival, Spot Festival and in support of greats like Meshuggah, Korn and Machine Head with their genre-bending riffworks and curb-stomping bottom growl. With new frontman Michael Bøgballe, formerly of Mnemic, Scamp hits high and low with unnerving control and uncontained vocal fury. 'The Deadcalm' puts the laughter back in slaughter with devilishly brutal voice and grooves that cure veganism, and along with the band's trademark rhythmic virtuosity and haunting melodies, the result is a plethora of delicious metal-juice sprayed across your face! 'The Deadcalm' has been produced by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Dark Tranquillity, Sick Of It All) and will hit the stores on June 10th, 2014.
Astra - New signing and new album 'Broken Balance'
‘Progressive metallers Astra have announced their return on the scene with their third, long waited album ‘Broken Balance’, following the critically acclaimed ‘About Me: Through Life And Beyond’ (2006) and ‘From Within’ (2009). The foursome, centered around keyboard wizard Emanuele Casali (DGM), have renovated their sound to make it less focused on the virtuosity of its members and more on a collective effort at putting forth memorable songs with accessible elements, particularly around their choruses. The lyrical concept itself evolves around the different meanings of “change”, as each of these 12 new songs suggest. The guitar riffs range from Symphony X precision to Queensryche’s late-eighties/early nineties vibe. The vocal arrangements are superb, suggesting a feel for the best in current metal production but also an appreciation for classic art rock like Queen or Styx, something that most progressive-minded acts lack nowadays. 2014 may shape up to be a good year for Progressive Metal.
Evenoire - New album 'Herons'
Following the success of their debut ‘Vitriol’, Symphonic metallers Evenoire have announced the release of their sophomore album ‘Herons’. The band combines Gothic and Symphonic Metal with a very distinctive Medieval/Folk approach, with a special mention to extraordinary lead vocalist Lisy Stefanoni, whose ethereal and powerful voice and evocative flute add an extra dimension to the melodies and make her one of the most promising female singers around. And if ‘Vitriol’ was centered on “water” themes, this new album focuses on “fire” and all those mythological creatures that represent it. The music is heavier than ever before although the lyrical side of the band is still prominent. ‘Herons’ was recorded at Dreamsound Studios in Munich, Germany, with Mario Lochert, Dejan Djukovic and Daniel Rehbein (Emergency Gate, Graveworm, Visions of Atlantis) behind the consolle. Mastering and Mixing duties were handled by Jan Vacik (Dreamscape). The band has also announced the collaboration with keyboardist/producer Riccardo Studer (Stormlord, Hour Of Penance). A very special guest appearance by singer Linnéa Vikström (Therion) is also confirmed.
More exciting news will be revealed soon on

Temperance is a new star in the Heavy Metal universe, born from the dedication and efforts of a group of musicians with more than a decade of experience in the scene, hundreds of concerts played with the likes of Rhapsody Of Fire, Dragonforce, Parkway Drive, Leave’s Eyes and Rage to name a few, and a renovated desire to make an impact. The band’s self titled debut album consists of an amazing mixture of tight, heavy guitar riffs, electronics and folk elements, bounded together in the name of melody and power. ‘Temperance’ was mixed and mastered by renowned musician/producer Simone Mularoni (DGM) at Domination Studio in San Marino, Italy. This is not your average metal band with female vocals. Temperance are here to make a difference. And they will take no prisoners.
Eldritch - New album ' Tasting The Tears'
‘Tasting The Tears’ is Progressive Metal masters Eldritch’s ninth studio album in their almost 20 year career. This time the whole band worked together as a team, writing 11 brand new tracks melting each member’s influences into one direction. The result is 100% Eldritch: powerful guitars, melodic tunes and technical instrumental parts perfectly blended into a classic Progressive album with Hard Rock influences, thrashy and dark at intervals but, most importantly, remarkable in its own, unique way. The lyrics talk about love. Not standard love between two partners, but love in all its forms. Something the band have never done before. ‘Tasting The Tears’ has been produced by Eugene Simone at ES Studios in Livorno, Italy. Mixing and mastering duties have been handled by Simone Mularoni (DGM) at Domination Studios in San Marino, Italy. Follow the latest news on

One Machine - New signing and debut album 'The Distortion Of Lies And The Overdriven Truth'
One Machine, the brainchild of acclaimed guitarist/songwriter Steve Smyth (Testament, Nevermore, Forbidden, Dragonlord, Vicious Rumors), have inked a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their debut album, 'The Distortion Of Lies And The Overdriven Truth', to be released February 18th, 2014.
One Machine is an international metal band with classic and modern influences, featuring members carefully selected by Smyth: Mikkel Sandager (Mercenary) on vocals, Jamie Hunt (Biomechanical) sharing guitar duties, rounded out by a powerhouse rhythm section with Tomas “O’Beast” Koefoed (Mnemic) on bass guitar and Michele Sanna on drums (although former drummer Raphael Saini of Italian progressive metallers Chaoswave played on the album).
Smyth had often given thought to leading his own band throughout his distinguished career as a member of bands including Testament, Nevermore and Forbidden, amongst others. He had written a number of songs, but the challenge of finding the right members to bring them to life remained. He found a more than capable shredding second guitarist in Jamie Hunt, and the two began collaborating on the material Smyth had. “Jamie’s playing complements mine extremely well, and we hit it off perfectly when we got together to work on the songs” says Smyth. A vocalist was found in the form of original Mercenary singer Mikkel Sandager. He fit the kind of singer Smyth was looking for, with his versatile ability to sing in different ways, and his readiness to be pushed into new musical territories. “When our former bands toured together, I got to witness night after night, exactly what Mikkel could do; deliver a solid performance with an incredible range, as well as multiple characters in his voice. He’s perfect for this band!”
Smyth, Hunt, and Sandager then set about refining and shaping Smyth’s original material. In 2012, bassist Tomas “O’Beast” Koefoed, formerly of Mnemic, came on board, adding his distinctive sound to the tracks. “Tomas is without a doubt one of the most solid bassists I’ve encountered in some time! He literally added an entirely new dimension to these songs that would not have been possible to be achieved without him.”
'The Distortion Of Lies And The Overdriven Truth' was recorded and produced by Steve Smyth. Mixing was handled by Roy Z (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson, Halford), mastered by Alan Douches (Three Inches Of Blood, Firewind, Sepultura) from West West Side Music with artwork created by Niklas Sundin from Cabin Fever Media (Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy), complimented with photography from Anthony Dubois (Meshuggah, Mnemic).

Five years after their critically acclaimed debut release ‘Ordinary Days’, Ethersens are back with their strongest material to date, eight new songs that the band describes as raw, dynamic and full of tension. “This album is in many ways darker than ‘Ordinary Days’, it’s really based on tension and everything we went through while making it. It was a long journey to make the band survive, so we can say that a new era has started for us” says the band’s guitarist and founder Mickael André. And he adds: “It’s a concept album about a relationship between two people which takes a tragic turn. It’s very personal to our new singer Laurent Mora”. Innovative and highly emotional, Ethersens are one of those bands that really stand out in today’s music scene. Follow the latest news on

Tigertailz - New signing and new EP 'Knives'
More than two decades after the release of 'Bezerk' - an album that defined the whole turn-of-the-decade glam metal zeitgeist - Tigertailz roll on to new and fairer horizons. Greater challenges met head-on by bigger riffs, sharper solos, melt-yer-brain vocals and hooks heavy and dark enough to reel in not only 'Jaws' but all the sequels too.

New five-track EP 'Knives', which will be released next September by Scarlet Records, is the first new music from Tigertailz in almost six years, a new dawn that sees the band step it up on every level. Founder member Jay Pepper has reunited with long-time drummer Matt Blakout to create – with singer Jules Millis and bassist Rob Wylde – a savage statement of intent. Matt, who has recently played with Mott The Hoople star Verden Allen, returns to the band at a pivotal moment in its history. A time when it sounds hungrier than ever, and when the 'Knives' are most definitely sharpened.

The road rolls on for a hungry, revitalised Tigertailz. From a band that has survived challenges so bizarre that most wouldn't even believe it, expect blow-your-mind live performances, and in 'Knives' some new generation Tigertailz music to rally the clans. In fact, a competition to win a signed copy of the new EP attracted over 10,000 'hits' in less than three hours! It's a resurgence to make fans young and old proud of this classic Welsh metal band. Death SS - New signing and new album 'Resurrection'
As its title suggests, ‘Resurrection’ marks the return of seminal heavy metal band Death SS and its charismatic leader Steve Sylvester.
The band’s latest album, ‘The Seventh Seal’, came out to critical acclaim some 7 years ago in 2006.
‘Resurrection’ alternates the two topics that have always been the main inspirations behind the Death SS project: horror movies and occultism.
But for the first time ever, Steve wanted to add another one of his main influences in a more explicit way: the Italian sexy-horror comics of the Seventies! The beautiful illustrations used for the album cover and booklet were handled by the great "maestro" Emanuele Taglietti, an internationally renowned painter and author of all the covers of cult adult comics such as ‘Belzeba’, ‘Zora’, ‘Sukia’, ‘Cimiteria’, ‘La Poliziotta’ to name a few.
A big change happened also on the production front. For the first time after the release of ‘Black Mass’ in 1989, Steve produced the album himself without the supervision of a well known, external producer, simply relying on the experience he has matured in almost 35 years of career in the music business. These 12 new songs represent one of the finest bands in heavy metal still on top of its game. Follow for all the updates.

Talented singer Alfred Romero offers his best performance to date, whilst orchestrations are less classical and more grandiose and epic. 'Ars Musica' was once again produced by Luigi Stefanini (Rhapsody Of Fire, Labyrinth, Vision Divine) and will hit the stores on June 18th, 2013. Follow for the latest news.
Angels Of Babylon - New signing and new album 'Thundergod'
Angels Of Babylon have signed a deal with Scarlet Records for the release of their long-waited second album. Founded by former Manowar drummer Kenny “Rhino” Earl in 2008, Angels Of Babylon released their debut album ‘Kingdom Of Evil’ in 2010, which featured another heavy metal legend, Dave Ellefson (of Megadeth fame) on bass guitar. ‘Thunder God’, this is the confirmed title of the new album, is as a collection of epic, melodic and heavy songs that will inspire and arouse the imagination, a timeless piece of work that any real heavy metal fan will treasure for many years to come. Here is how Rhino commented the event: “This record is a real labour of love. It is epic and memorable. I don’t like to write the standard macho metal songs. People may or may not be surprised that there are songs written from the heart. I never compromise my art. Also, there is no quantizing, no triggers, this album is 100% organic. Melody, emotion and energy… this is the focal point of all of our songs. I like my lyrics to be more about fantasy, real life experiences and historic events rather than going too dark and sinister. Although, you might find a shadow here and there. The song ‘Thunder God’ is dedicated to my friend Scott Columbus. May you keep your hammer high!”
