Born in 1991 in Roma, the leading Italian horde is now back, after 3 years of silence, with an earthshaking album that will be one of the absolute highlights of the year concerning the extreme metal scene. Recorded once again at the well known OUTER SOUND STUDIOS (NECRODEATH, THY MAJESTIE, NOVEMBRE, DGM) in Italy under the guide of the producer GIUSEPPE ORLANDO (NOVEMBRE), and mastered at the famous THE MASTERING ROOM STUDIOS in Sweden (DIMMU BORGIR, IN FLAMES, OPETH, SOILWORK), "The Gorgon Cult" follows the acclaimed second album "At The Gates Of Utopia" that brought STORMLORD on the stages of first class festivals like A SUMMER DAY IN HELL in 2003 (featuring BLIND GUARDIAN, TYPE O NEGATIVE, LACUNA COIL, OPETH) and around Europe with acts like DESTRUCTION, ARCH ENEMY, SOULFLY and more. In early 2003 the band unleashed one of the most celebrated metal videos of the last years, “I Am Legend”, under the guide of the director BRIGIDA COSTA and with amazing visual effects created by DAVID BRACCI (SERGIO STIVALETTI TEAM/DARIO ARGENTO), shocking thousands of fan with visions of horror and blood.
